Separate drive motors for the interfacer-, indexand the outfeed conveyors . GEA touch-screen display and a reliable B&R controller . Modular belt outfeed conveyor, which offers long life without the need for belt tracking . Maximum pack spacing is automatically calculated for the available cycle time . Line Synchronisation package that increases line control and efficiency . Quick and easy interfacer- and index conveyor removal for rapid belt change . Self-tracking belts on interfacer and index conveyors Interfacer conveyor The interfacer conveyor is the part of the GEA PowerGuide that interfaces with the GEA PowerPak thermoformer. It ensures that the packs are fed cleanly on to the Converger by interfacing asclosely as possible to the thermoformer's cutting knives. This unit ensures that packs are completely fed from the thermoformer when a web advance signal is generated by it. To handle applications where the thermoformer is producing packs with varying draw depths, the interfacer conveyor incorporates ratchet height adjustment that does not affect the overall height of the production line. Product handling improved by minimized transfer distance between the conveyors.
