Crashed SAS Drives -- RAID 5 【Crashed Audio Sample】

Please visit us at: http://www.alandata.com/ Three 15000rpm SAS hard drives in a RAID 5 configuration came in for data recovery. As is the common case, 2 of the drives had already crashed instead of just 1. Why? Because the RAID did it's job, and the user did not. When the first drive crashed, the other 2 drives took over and the users did not notice. Only upon the 2nd drive failure did the users notice something awry. At this point a successful data recovery becomes slim to none. It is extremely important to regularly monitor drive health, especially in any RAID configuration.
