This is basically a video for anyone who has the performance issues(Capped Framerate or Low FPS) on this game. However this is still probably the most graphically demanding game ever made. This is basically how I fix the performance issues: Before trying to increase your FPS, you need to fix the Capped Framerate issue first. Capped Framerate at 30FPS: 1. Go to "Manage 3D Settings" from your Nvidia Control Panel then find your AC4 executable(.exe file) under "Program Settings". Turn on "Triple Buffering" and "Vsync" for your AC4 executable file(.exe) to fix the capped framerate.. 2. If it doesn't work, use "d3doverrider" to force Triple Buffering and Vsync on this game. Download Link for d3doverrider: http://mediafire.com/?zqx4ntpm9m75sy2 Low FPS even when FPS is uncapped: 1. Go to the properties of the game's executable(.exe) by right clicking on it. Then change the compability mode to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" and click apply which should give fair FPS boost. 2. Turn off Anti-Aliasing, God Rays,Ambient Occlusion and Volumetric Fogs for large FPS boost. Lower down Environmental Quality if the game lags when its raining or when you're in the forest. Lower down Screen Resolution to enhance the FPS boost. 3. Turn on "Motion Blur" to give the illusion of smooth performance even at low FPS. Peformance(without recording) During rain or in the forest: Min FPS: 22 Max FPS: 40 Avg FPS: 26-36 Other Weathers: Min FPS: 28 Max FPS: 52 Avg FPS: 32-40 Graphics Settings: Screen Resolutions - 1366 x 768 Environment Quality - Low Texture Quality - High Shadow Quality - High Anti-Aliasing - Off Reflection Quality - High Ambient Occlusion - Off Motion Blur - On God Rays - Low Volumetric Fog - Off Vsync - Off Specs: Notebook: Asus N56Vz CPU: Intel Core i7-3630QM, 2.4Ghz GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 650M, 2GB DDR3 RAM: 4GB DDR3 OS: Windows 8
