A lot of people like very sophisticated and complicated systems but I learned to love the easy approaches because today, I know that a lot of the things I thought I knew have nothing to do with reality. Most of the things that you learn from the classic trading tutorials will not really help you in real life, will not produce the results you want. So here comes the very easy short random trade module that should help you to learn a few things that I will include in this course to help you to make your own experiences from your own test results. Let's go. Here, we have declared an external Stop Loss that is ten times bigger than the take profit amount. This line will show the account balance on the screen and this one will call the CheckRandomTrade() function. If the calculated random number is zero and we have no open orders, it will open a buy ticket. If the calculated number is one and we have no open orders, it will open a sell ticket. This is our random number generator and that's all. Very simple expert advisor, but you can learn a lot of it, and here is what I want you to do. Please open your MetaTrader and start a back test. Watch the graph and write down the result. Afterwards, start another test. This is another graph. And it's a different result. Let's do it again. This one looks like the first one did and once again, it looks good, and we have a different result. We did not change anything and the reason for different results is that we use random entries. The historical data is the same. The values for StopLoss and TakeProfit have been the same and all the settings have been the same. Let's do a last one. And in our last run, we made a profit. How come that 5 out of 5 times, we can make a profit with a random based entry? If you can find out the reasons, you might have found the magic golden key for profitable automated trading.
